This mechanism does not have the unlocking lever (There is another model (Ref: 701070713) that does) since it is a reference mounted on some hoods of the VAG group and in any case it is not specific to VW T4.
As such, this spare part does not serve as a substitute for the original mechanism of the VW T4. In this part you will not be able to mount the opening lever of your old part. However, if what you need is only to replace the spring or the threaded pin, this version can be an economical alternative to take into account to replace these parts since they are easily disassembled.
