As a general rule, each brand of shock absorber has its type of thread at the end of the shock absorber rod and there is no "standard" in this. The original ones are usually M10x1.00, however there are other brands that have an M10x1.25 or M10x1.50 thread.
Fitting supplement pads or springs higher than the original ones entails changes in the geometry of the vehicle, which can cause premature wear in shock absorbers, ball joints, CV joints, bearings, etc ... so it is necessary to carry out an alignment once the changes have been made.
