Important: The VW T3s fitted different types of fenders, so if you have a broken one and want to replace it with this other one, it is important that you make sure it is the same type.
This type of mud flaps are not mounted on the same lip of the wheel arch but rather go a little further back. They are fixed using stainless steel supports that are screwed to the chassis joists.
Keep in mind that for optimal fixation of the fender lip that rests on the sheet metal, it is necessary to screw the 2 threaded bolts included in the kit into the rubber. These bolts fit into the 2 clips on the vehicle's sheet metal (see attached image) for models with original fenders with this system. If you do not have them, you must drill the sheet metal and put the clip, which is sold separately. (ref 865853231A).
